Sunworker

Trust & Safety

Credentials that are checked.Money that is held safely.Rules that apply to everyone.

Sunworker connects self-employed hospitality professionals with venues and private individuals. To make that work from the start, we rely on processes you can check – not on promises.

Here you can read how credentials are checked, how escrow works and what you can do if something isn't right.

Payment

The money is held safely until the shift is completed

When a shift is agreed, Sunworker holds the amount as a trustee in a platform account with Stripe. It is paid out after the shift and billed by the actual time worked.

Credentials

Checked – and with an expiry date

A document only becomes a credential once it has been checked. When it expires, it shows as “expired” on the profile instead of quietly disappearing.

Basics

How Sunworker builds trust

Sunworker doesn't promise you safety – it shows you where it comes from: verified credentials, money held in escrow, reviews after real shifts and clear roles.

When something goes wrong

Resolving disputes

If you disagree about the hours of a shift, there is a set procedure: the client disputes the hours, the professional corrects them or opens a dispute, and Sunworker establishes the times.

Basics

Fair reviews

On Sunworker, reviews only exist after a completed shift and come from the people involved – and a review is never hidden because it is negative.

Basics

Self-employed, not agency work

Sunworker arranges matches with self-employed professionals and does not lease anyone out: the professional sets their own hourly rate, decides on every request individually and receives no instructions from Sunworker.

On the shift

Respect during a shift

During a shift, the same rules apply to everyone: be respectful and honest, arrange things through Sunworker, and give no instructions that turn a shift into an employment relationship.

On the shift

Staying safe on site

Every shift takes place on site: whoever provides the premises is responsible for their safety, the professional arranges their own cover, and in immediate danger the emergency call comes first.

Privacy at a glance

The database and files are stored in Frankfurt, uploaded documents are never public, and an email is all it takes for any request about your data.
