Questions about events

Which professionals can I book for an event?

Stagehands for set-up and clear-down, hosts for the reception, waiters and service staff, cooks and kitchen assistants, bartenders, sommeliers and dishwashers. Each task is its own request.

Can I book as a private client?

Yes, for example for a birthday, a wedding or a garden party. Private clients book only self-employed professionals and see final prices including VAT.

Do I have to send a separate request for each task?

Yes. Each task has its own time, its own hourly rate and its own acceptance. That way you only request what you really need.

When do I pay?

When you confirm the booking after the professional has accepted, the planned amount is collected and held in escrow on a platform account. Billing is based on the time actually worked, to the minute.

Are there surcharges for late hours?

If the professional has set them: for nights (11 pm to 6 am), Sundays and nationwide public holidays. For each minute the highest surcharge applies, not the sum. You see the rates before you send a request.

Are the professionals employed by Sunworker?

No. They are self-employed, set their own rate and decide on every request. Sunworker matches and issues the invoice in their name (invoicing by a third party).

How early should I send a request?

As early as possible, especially at weekends during wedding season. Whether it works out is the professional's own decision.

Start with a request.
