We do not match care work to self-employed people.
For healthcare, exactly one way is in preparation at Sunworker: employed professionals from staffing agencies with a temporary agency work licence. Nothing can be booked here yet.
Only one way
Anyone working in a hospital, a care home or for a care service works to the facility's duty rosters.

Via partner staffing agencies Employed professionals – the staffing agency remains the employer.
In 2019 the German Federal Social Court ruled that freelance nurses in inpatient facilities are, as a rule, in dependent employment. The plan is therefore for staffing agencies with a temporary agency work licence to offer their employed professionals; documents and employment contracts stay with them.
Planned via partners: Registered nurse, Nursing assistant, Medical assistant (MFA), Care assistant.
Two sides, one way
For facilities with a need and for staffing agencies with a temporary agency work licence.

Questions about healthcare
Does Sunworker match self-employed nurses?
No. Care work in facilities follows the facility's rosters and instructions and is, as a rule, employment. That is why healthcare only has the way via staffing agencies.
Which roles are planned?
Registered nurses with recognised qualifications, nursing assistants, medical assistants and care assistants – each employed by a staffing agency.
Who is the employer?
The staffing agency. It holds the temporary agency work licence, and the hiring-out contract runs directly between the agency and the facility. Sunworker is never the lender and never a party to the hiring-out.
Who checks documents and professional recognition?
The staffing agency as the employer. Documents, licences and employment contracts stay with it.
Can private clients book here?
No. On Sunworker, private clients only book self-employed professionals, never via staffing agencies. Home care is not part of the offer.
When will healthcare be available?
We will only give a date once it is fixed. Facilities can already register their need through the contact form.
Tell us what you need.
Write to us about the work you want to hand out, where and roughly how often. It helps decide where we start – and you will be the first to know.
