Sunworker
Woman reaches into a supermarket shelf

A shop window is a job. The checkout is not.

In retail, Sunworker does not match anyone yet. Planned is what self-employed people take on as a defined job – a shop window, a promotion day, a shelf refit. Sales, checkout and stocktaking are ongoing work in the shop and are to come through partner staffing agencies.

Two ways for the shop

Work handed out as a piece of work with a result can be self-employed. Work in your shifts cannot.

Questions about retail

Can I already book professionals for retail?

Not yet. Promotion and product advice, merchandising, and decoration and shop windows are in preparation.

Why are sales and checkout not done by self-employed people?

Anyone working at the checkout or in sales works in your shifts and to your instructions. As a rule, that is employment. The way via staffing agencies with a temporary agency work licence is intended for this.

What is the difference between promotion and sales?

Promotion is a defined job for a brand: a promotion day, a tasting, advice on one product. Sales is ongoing work across the shop's range.

Who is the employer when temporary staff come via partners?

The staffing agency. It holds the temporary agency work licence, and the hiring-out contract runs directly between the agency and you. Sunworker is never the lender and never a party to the hiring-out.

How do I register a need?

Through the contact form: what work, where and roughly how often. It helps decide where we start, and you will be the first to know when it is ready.

Who sets the price of a job?

The professional. They are self-employed, set their own rate and accept or decline each request individually. Sunworker sets no price.
