Messaging venues
Conversations are always started by the venue or the private individual; you reply, there is one conversation per client, and contact details or addresses are always hidden in it.
The rules
- The client starts. A venue or private individual writes to you, and you reply. That way, nobody receives unsolicited messages.
- One conversation per client. All shifts with them appear in it as notes.
- No contact details or addresses. Phone numbers, email addresses, links, messenger names and postal addresses are hidden in both directions — even after confirmation. Times, amounts and dates remain visible.
- The shift is binding, not the chat. Times and amounts apply as they stand in the shift.
From confirmation onwards you see the exact address, the contact person and the notes on the place of work in the shift itself — you do not need the chat for that.
Date proposals
A venue can propose a date to you in the conversation — without a price, because your rate is on your profile. Accepting the proposal does not book anything yet: the venue then sends you a request, which you decide on as usual.
What you can do in a conversation
- edit or delete your own messages for up to 15 minutes after sending
- have messages translated if the page offers it
- archive or block conversations, or report individual messages
Quick replies
Under Settings → Quick replies you create up to ten text snippets of up to 300 characters each — for example “Thanks for the request, I’ll look at it this evening.” In a conversation you insert them with one click.
How quickly you reply may be shown on your profile once there are enough data points. Response time never counts towards your level.
