Data protection: who sees what about you

Venues see your profile and how far away you are, but never your exact home address; they see your contact details only from a confirmed shift together.

What is public

  • Your profile with photo, short introduction, roles, terms, credentials with their status and published reviews — once you are approved.
  • Your town and postcode, shown only roughly rounded on maps. In search, venues see the distance, never your address.
  • Your public calendar: whether you are available, blocked or booked on a day — never with whom and never why.

What only becomes visible from a confirmed shift

A venue only sees your contact details once you have a shift together with the status “confirmed”, “in progress” or “completed”. In return you then see its house number, the contact person and the notes on the place of work. In messages, contact details always stay hidden.

Location at check-in

If your device sends a location at check-in or check-out, only you can see it. The client only learns the time — never where you are.

What only you can see

  • the reason and note for your blocked days
  • your bank details — Sunworker does not store the IBAN at all; your account only shows the last four digits
  • the copy of your ID — it is deleted after the review
  • the number of views of your profile and how complete your profile is

How long we keep things

  • Receipts: ten years, as required by law
  • Conversations: three years after the last message, if no shift is still open

Under the GDPR you have the right to information, correction and deletion. How to request this is explained under Deleting your account and data requests; everything else is in the privacy policy.
