Filling in your profile
Your profile shows venues who you are and what you can do; it appears in search with a photo, a short introduction and at least one role once your account is approved.
The top of your profile
Under Profile you see your profile as venues see it, and open the individual areas from there. At the top are the details that count for search:
- Photo: a friendly, recent portrait. Without a photo you do not appear in search.
- Short introduction: one sentence of 10 to 240 characters, for example “Chef with ten years of à la carte experience, confident on the pass”.
- Roles: up to five; the first counts as your main role.
- Years of experience and languages: optional, each language with a level from basic to native.
About me, career history and specialisms
In the “What you can do” area you show what people should book you for:
- Specialisms: up to twelve from a list, for example à la carte.
- About me: free text of up to 3,000 characters.
- Career history: positions with venue, role and period.
- Training: qualifications and courses.
Do not put a phone number, email address or links in your profile. Arrangements run through Sunworker; a venue sees your contact details once you have a confirmed shift together.
Your public address
Your profile has a fixed address, such as sunworker.eu/fachkraft/your-name. You can copy it, share it or output it as a QR code — for business cards, Instagram or your email signature. You can change it at most three times in 365 days; old addresses redirect. The same address appears as the website on your invoices.
Tips for a good profile
Be specific rather than general: which cuisine, how many guests, which till system do you know? Career history, portfolio and verified credentials give venues more confidence than a long list of qualities. The completeness indicator in your account shows what is still missing — only you can see it.
