Portfolio and FAQs on your profile
With portfolio entries you show venues pictures of your work, and with up to 15 questions and answers of your own you answer what they would otherwise ask in the chat.
The portfolio
Under Portfolio you create entries with pictures of your work: plated dishes, a buffet, a bar before service.
- Upload up to three pictures; the first becomes the cover picture.
- Add a title and, if you like, a description, the date, your role, the duration and tags.
- If the entry comes from a completed shift via Sunworker, link it to that shift. It is then marked as work from a Sunworker shift.
- Highlight particularly good entries and put them all in the order in which venues should see them.
Only name a venue if the venue has agreed. The photo belongs to you; the venue’s name does not.
You can also upload a short video or embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo.
FAQs on your profile
Under Frequently asked questions you create up to 15 questions with answers that appear on your profile. A question has 5 to 200 characters, an answer up to 1,000.
- Answer briefly and directly — two or three sentences are enough.
- Answer what venues really want to know: clothing, your own tools, experience with particular kitchens.
- No prices and no contact details: your hourly rate and terms are on your profile anyway, and arrangements run through Sunworker.
An example
“Do you bring your own knives?” — “Yes, I always have my knife set with me, and my chef’s jacket and shoes too. I’m happy to use the venue’s aprons.” An answer like this saves the venue a message and you a follow-up question.
