Accepting or declining a request
You decide on every request yourself: you accept or decline, and the shift only becomes binding once the client confirms your acceptance and has paid.
What a request shows
You see new requests on your overview and under Shifts, and you receive a notification. Every request shows:
- role, days, start, end and break — a shift can cover up to 31 days
- your terms as recorded with the request, and the planned amount
- the venue’s rating and its reliability: how often it confirms acceptances and how many cancellations and no-shows there were in the last 90 days
- the note describing the desired result, and the credentials the shift requires
Accepting or declining
- Open the request and check the days, place, amount and note.
- If you have questions, reply in the conversation with the client before you decide.
- Choose “Accept” or “Decline”. Either way, it then appears in the shift’s timeline.
You are free to decide. Declining does not count against your level and is not shown on your profile.
Confirmation by the client
After you accept, the venue or private individual confirms the shift. At that point the amount is collected and held in escrow by the platform. With a direct debit this can take a little while; until then the shift shows as “accepted”. From “confirmed” onwards:
- You see the full address, the contact person with phone number and the notes on the place of work.
- The shift appears as a firm appointment in your calendar.
- Arrangements in the chat do not change anything: times and amounts apply as they stand in the shift.
If you do not answer a request before its start time has passed, it lapses and shows as “expired”. This costs you nothing.
