If the professional doesn’t turn up
If the professional doesn’t turn up for a confirmed booking, you record a “no-show” and get the full amount back.
First: get in touch
If the professional isn’t there at the agreed time, call them or write to them via the messages in the booking. Sometimes they are stuck in traffic or at the wrong entrance. If they have already checked in, you see that in the booking.
Recording a “no-show”
- Open the confirmed booking under Bookings.
- Choose “Record no-show” and confirm.
- The professional is notified and the booking appears with the note.
You can only record a no-show for a confirmed booking. If the professional has gone silent on a requested or accepted booking, simply cancel it — that costs nothing.
What happens then
- You get the full amount back (terms and conditions, § 13(7)).
- A no-show counts against the professional’s reliability and level.
Only record a no-show if the professional really didn’t come. If they came and there is a dispute about the times, dispute the actual time instead.
Finding a replacement quickly
Search with today’s date for professionals who are explicitly available and request directly. A job posting is usually too slow on the same day.
