Delete your account and request your data

For now, you request the deletion of your account and a copy of your data via the contact form; we keep receipts for tax reasons.

How it works today

A delete button in the account itself is on its way. Until then, write to us via the contact form using the email address you are registered with. We confirm receipt and get back to you once the deletion has been carried out.

Before you delete

  • Cancel or complete any open shifts. The cancellation scale applies to confirmed shifts.
  • Settle any outstanding amounts. A professional’s open claim remains even if the account is deleted.
  • Download receipts and the export from Finances if you need them for your bookkeeping.
  • If you own a venue with other users, agree beforehand who will continue to run it.

What remains

Receipts — professionals’ invoices, service fee receipts and cancellation compensation — must be kept for ten years. On deletion they are anonymised, not deleted. Reviews you have written remain without your name.

Just leaving a venue?

If you do not want to delete your whole account but just stop working for a particular venue, leave it under Users and permissions. Your account and your other roles remain.

Access to your data

Under the GDPR you can find out at any time which data Sunworker holds about you. Again, write to us via the contact form. What we process and why is set out in the privacy policy.

We process requests for erasure and access within the statutory deadlines of the GDPR and will get in touch if we need to check, for security, that the request really comes from you.
