Language, currency and notifications
You set your language and display currency via the globe icon and your notifications per category under “Settings”; billing is always in euros.
Language and currency
Sunworker is available in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch. You choose your language via the globe icon in the header or under Language and currency. Your choice applies to the public pages and to your account.
In the same dialogue you set a display currency. Amounts in other currencies are conversions and marked with “≈”. Your hourly rate, your invoices and your payouts are always in euros.
Notifications
What happens in your account appears under Notifications — the bell in your account. Under Settings → Notifications you decide per category whether it also reaches you by push and by email:
- Requests and shift status — new requests, confirmations, cancellations
- Hours — confirmations, disputes and reminders to submit
- Messages
- Reviews — invitations, reminders and new reviews
- Invoices and receipts
- Payouts — for example “Payout account ready” or a note that a payout is waiting for your invoice
- Postings — new jobs from private individuals near you, and awards
- Account and approval, including onboarding reminders
- Profile saved — off until you switch it on yourself; you never find out who saved you
Keep the “Hours” category switched on. If a venue disputes your times, it is your turn to act — and the reminders to submit make sure your invoice is created promptly.
Translated pages
We maintain German and English by hand. The other languages are machine pre-translated and marked as such; where no translation exists yet, the English text is shown.
