Deleting your account and data requests

For now, you request the deletion of your account and information about your data via the contact form; we keep invoices and receipts for ten years for tax reasons.

How it works for now

A delete button in your account is coming. Until then, write to us using the contact form from the email address you use with Sunworker. We confirm receipt and get back to you once the deletion has been carried out.

Just need a break?

If you want no requests for a while, you do not need to delete anything. Under “Terms”, switch off “Bookings on”: you then receive no new requests and do not appear in search. For single days or a holiday, add a block in your calendar.

Before you delete

  • Complete or cancel any open shifts. Remember: cancelling after you have accepted counts against your level.
  • Submit the hours for every day you worked, so that the invoice and payout can be created.
  • Download your receipts and the export from Finances if you need them for your bookkeeping.

What remains

Invoices, commission invoices and cancellation receipts must be kept for ten years. They are not deleted when you delete your account; your other data is anonymised. Reviews you have left remain, without your name.

Information about your data

Under the GDPR you can find out at any time what data Sunworker holds about you. To ask, also write to us using the contact form. What we process and why is set out in the privacy policy.

We deal with deletion and information requests within the statutory time limits and will ask for confirmation if we need to check that the request really comes from you.
