Registering as a professional
You create an account under “Register as a professional”, work through the onboarding step by step and submit your details for review.
Creating your account
Under Register as a professional you enter your email address, a password of at least ten characters, your name, your roles, your hourly rate and the postcode of your base. You accept the terms and conditions, the cancellation policy and the privacy policy, and confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The account is free.
You then confirm your email address using the message we send you. If nothing arrives, request it again — at most five times an hour. If the page shows a Google or Apple button, you can also register that way. You then add your roles, hourly rate and postcode in the onboarding.
The onboarding
The onboarding guides you through everything venues see and everything needed for billing. Each step saves itself. You can skip steps and carry on later.
- Who you are: a photo, a short introduction and your roles; years of experience and languages if you like.
- What you can do: specialisms, plus About me, career history, training and portfolio if you like.
- Terms: hourly rate, working radius and lead time.
- Availability: at least one entry in the calendar.
- Connect your calendar: optional, with Google Calendar.
- Credentials and self-employment: health certificate and your declaration that you work on a self-employed basis.
- Invoicing details: name, address, tax details, logo and how your invoices are created.
- Documents: ID with front and back, plus a business registration or a certificate from the tax office.
- Payout account: bank details and identity, so that your money reaches you.
- Review: you confirm that your details are correct and the documents are yours, and submit.
To submit, you need at least your invoicing details and your documents. What happens next is explained under Review and approval.
After registering
- Complete your profile. A good photo and a clear short introduction help venues decide.
- Set up your payout account early. Without it you can receive requests but cannot accept them.
- Enter in the calendar when you are available. If you enter nothing, you can still be found, but when someone searches for a specific day you appear after those who have marked it as available.
