Sunworker

Review and approval of your account

After you submit, Sunworker reviews your details and documents, usually within 24 hours; only then is your profile public and can you accept requests.

Submitting

  1. Complete the “Invoicing details” and “Documents” steps in the onboarding. Your roles, hourly rate and postcode must also be filled in.
  2. In the last step, tick “My details are correct and the documents belong to me”.
  3. Choose “Submit for review”. Your account then shows the notice “Account under review”.

If a required step becomes incomplete again after you have submitted, Sunworker withdraws the submission. You complete the step and confirm again.

What you can do before approval

  • update your profile, terms, calendar and credentials
  • set up your payout account
  • view your profile as a preview — nobody else can see it yet

You can only accept requests, send messages and leave reviews once you are approved. You also only appear in search from then on.

The outcome

  • Approved: your profile is public. You can accept requests as soon as your invoicing details and payout account are complete as well.
  • Documents requested: Sunworker tells you in your account what is missing or could not be read. You upload again and confirm again.
  • Rejected: the reason is shown in your account. If it can be fixed, you submit new documents and the review starts again.

If your onboarding is left unfinished, Sunworker reminds you at most three times. You can switch these reminders off in your notifications under “Account and approval”.

What happens to your ID

We need the copy of your ID for the review and for verifying the identity on your payout account. We then delete it, usually 30 days after the decision. All that remains is a note that it was checked and when.
