Check-in, check-out and checking actual hours
The professional checks in and out on site and then submits the actual hours for each day; you confirm them or dispute them with a reason — without a response they count as confirmed after 48 hours.
Check-in and check-out
Only the professional can check in and out — on each day no earlier than 30 minutes before the start and up to four hours after it. You can see in the shift when they checked in; you do not receive any location data.
If the professional forgets to check out, Sunworker automatically records the planned time after six hours. They then submit the real time as actual hours.
Checking the actual hours
- The professional submits the start, end and break for each day. You receive a notification.
- Open the shift and compare the details with what happened on site.
- If everything is correct, choose “Confirm”.
- If something is wrong, choose “Dispute”: a category (times, break, travel or other), a reason of at least ten characters and, if you like, a counter-proposal.
You never change the times yourself. The professional accepts your proposal, resubmits or opens a dispute; Sunworker then establishes the times from check-in, check-out and messages — Sunworker does not decide on prices.
Days you do not check within 48 hours count as confirmed. Sunworker reminds you after 24 and 44 hours.
Extra hours
If a day runs longer than planned, the professional submits the real time as actual hours — there is no separate application. If you confirm it, the extra amount is charged to your payment method after the shift; if the shift was shorter, you are refunded the difference.
Completion
Once all days are confirmed, the shift is completed automatically. The professional’s invoice is then created and you can review each other.
