Language, currency and notifications
You set your language and display currency via the globe icon and your notifications per category in your account under “Notification settings” — billing is always in euros.
Language and currency
Sunworker is available in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch. You choose your language via the globe icon in the header or under Language and currency. The choice applies to the public pages and to your account.
In the same dialogue you set a display currency. Amounts in other currencies are conversions and are marked with “≈”. Payments and receipts are always in euros.
Notifications
What happens with your bookings appears under Notifications, the bell in your account. Under Account → Notification settings you decide per category what should also reach you:
- Requests and bookings — acceptances, cancellations, confirmations
- Job postings — new applications and the end of a deadline
- Hours — actual times you need to check
- Messages and reviews
- Payments and invoices — charge, additional charge, refund, new invoice
- Account — for example the result of your approval
Keep the “Hours” category switched on: actual times you do not check within 48 hours are deemed confirmed.
Translated pages
We maintain German and English by hand. The other languages are machine pre-translated and marked as such. Your browser remembers language and currency; on a new device you set them once again.
