Reporting a review
If a review breaks the rules or describes something that did not happen, you report it; Sunworker examines the case, and until then the review stays visible with the note “under review”.
When to report
- Insults, threats or discrimination
- Contact details, names of third parties or health information
- No connection to the shift
- An incident that did not happen, or a false statement of fact
How to report
- Open the review under Reviews → Received.
- Choose “Report” and a reason from the list.
- Briefly describe what is wrong. Sunworker already has evidence such as check-in times.
The review process
If you report that an incident did not happen or a fact is false, Sunworker opens a review process. The person who wrote the review has seven days to respond. Until a decision is made, the review stays visible with the note “under review”. Decisions are made by people, not automatically.
Notice under § 5b UWG (German Unfair Competition Act): only people who have completed a shift via Sunworker can leave a review. This is how we ensure reviews come from real shifts. Details on How we check reviews.
The outcome
After the review, the rating either stays or is removed if it breaks the rules or the incident described turns out to be false. A venue can submit up to 20 reports a day — intended for genuine violations, not for uncomfortable opinions.
What a report does not do
A fair but uncomfortable review stays up. For your side of the story there is the reply directly below the review.
Report as soon as possible after publication. The more recent the shift, the easier it is to establish what happened.
