Replying to a review
You can reply publicly once to each review of your venue; the reply appears directly below it and can be corrected for 15 minutes.
How to reply
- Open Reviews in your account and choose the “Received” tab.
- Choose “Reply” on the review.
- Write your reply and publish it. You can still correct it during the first 15 minutes.
There is exactly one reply per review. Contact details are hidden in it, just as in chat.
What a good reply sounds like
- Say thank you — for criticism too. Whoever reads your reply is often the next professional.
- Stay factual and stick to what happened on the day.
- Say what you are changing if the criticism is justified: “We have now signposted the entrance.”
- Keep it short. Two or three sentences are enough.
No names, no health information, no accusations against third parties. If a review is untrue — for example because the incident described never happened — do not argue in a reply but report the review.
An example
“Thank you for the honest feedback. The briefing was too short that evening — we now set aside ten minutes before every shift and have created an overview of the kitchen.” Two sentences, factual, with a change: this is what a reply that builds trust looks like.
Can I have a review deleted?
Not because you do not like it. Reviews are only removed for the reasons set out on How we check reviews — such as insults, third-party data or no connection to the shift. Your reply is the place for your side of the story.
Replies appear publicly below the review on your venue profile — visible to everyone who opens your profile.
