Jobs from private individuals
Private individuals request you directly or post their event under “Jobs”; you apply once to a posting, and the private individual makes the award.
Two routes
Private individuals book you like a venue, with a request to your profile. They can also post an event — with occasion, number of guests, service package, time, place and pricing. You find matching postings in your area under Jobs.
Applying to a posting
- Under “Open jobs”, open a posting that matches your roles.
- Read the service package. It describes what is to be delivered — how you work is up to you.
- If the private individual names a fixed price, you accept it with your application. If the price is open, you name yours.
- Write a short message and apply. You can do this exactly once per posting; you can withdraw while it is open.
If the private individual awards the job to you, your application counts as your acceptance. With their payment the shift is confirmed; after that it runs like any other, with check-in, actual hours and invoice. You can see the status of your applications under “My applications”.
What is different with private individuals
- Private individuals see final prices including VAT. If you are a small business, your price is also the final price.
- Private individuals pay no service fee. Your commission stays the same.
- With a fixed price, the actual hours do not change the amount; surcharges and travel are not added.
- Private individuals review you just as venues do. There is no rating of private individuals; instead you see how many bookings they have completed.
Switching it on and off
Under “Terms” you decide whether you accept jobs from private individuals, with separate minimum hours if you like. If the switch is off, private individuals see you neither in search nor on your profile, and you see no postings.
The service package describes a result, such as “three courses for 24 guests”. How and in what order you work is up to you.
