Levels: badge and commission
At Sunworker two things are called a level: the public badge on your profile and the commission level, which determines how much commission you pay.
Both come from what happens after your shifts — completed shifts and reviews. But they are kept separate. Sunworker works both out itself — you do not need to apply for anything.
The badge on your profile
The badge appears on every search result and on your profile. It sums up your shifts and reviews in a way venues can take in at a glance:
- New — the start. New profiles carry no badge; unreviewed does not mean bad. It stays this way until your first shifts are completed and reviewed.
- Proven — your first completed, well-reviewed shifts with hardly any no-shows. From here the badge appears on your profile.
- Experienced — considerably more shifts, a higher average rating and a few months with Sunworker.
- Top professional — the highest level: many shifts, very good reviews, hardly any cancellations or no-shows.
Venues can filter and sort by level. The level does not change the standard “Best match” order — see How we sort. Anyone sorting by level sees Top professionals first, then Experienced, Proven and New.
The commission level
The commission level determines your rate: 15% to begin with, 10% from Level 2, 8% from Level 3. It depends only on the number of your completed shifts: Level 1 from 5, Level 2 from 25, Level 3 from 75. Ratings and cancellations do not change it. The scale:
| Level | Reached | Commission |
|---|---|---|
| New | From day one until your first completed shifts. | 15% |
| Level 1 | After your first completed shifts. | 15% |
| Level 2 | After many completed shifts. | 10% |
| Level 3 | The highest level: after the most completed shifts. | 8% |
The clearing period of 72 hours is the same at every level. No level can be bought, and none requires you to accept requests or reply quickly.
