Understanding sorting and levels
Results are sorted by relevance but can be re-sorted by distance, rating, price, experience, level or newest — a higher position cannot be bought.
Relevance by default
Unless you choose otherwise, Sunworker sorts by relevance. This takes into account distance, rating, the number of reviews and availability on the chosen day, among other things. The number of reviews only counts up to a cap so that new professionals who do good work still get a chance.
Sorting yourself
Above the results you can change the order:
- Distance — closest first
- Rating and number of reviews
- Hourly rate ascending or descending
- Experience and level
- Newest profiles
What the level tells you
Professionals move up to higher levels with completed, well-rated shifts; established no-shows hold them back, cancellations do not count. The level is shown on the profile and is an indication of reliability — not a guarantee, and no reason to overlook new professionals. The “Level” filter lets you narrow your search.
The order cannot be bought: nobody pays for a better position. The exact criteria are on How we sort.
Tip for short-notice shifts
If you need someone tonight, choose the date and sort by distance. Professionals who are explicitly available appear higher up at the same distance.
Sorting and filtering together
Sorting and filters can be combined: first you narrow things down — for example to professionals with a valid health certificate and a minimum rating of four — then you choose the order. The settings are part of the page address; you can bookmark them or send them to colleagues at the venue.
Try different orders: sorting by rating turns up different profiles from sorting by distance.
