Replying to a review
You can reply publicly once to every published review about you; the reply appears directly below it and can be corrected for 15 minutes.
How to reply
- In your account, open Reviews and choose the “Received” tab.
- Choose “Reply” next to the review. You can do this as soon as the review has been published.
- Write your reply and publish it. You can still correct it during the first 15 minutes.
There is exactly one reply per review, of up to 2000 characters. Contact details in it are hidden just as in the chat, and Sunworker checks doubtful replies before they are published. The reply appears publicly below the review on your profile.
What a good reply sounds like
- Say thank you — even for criticism. Whoever reads your reply is often the next venue.
- Stay factual and stick to what happened on the day. Describe what you did rather than judging what the venue did.
- Keep it short. Two or three sentences are enough.
- No names, no health information, no accusations against third parties. The same applies here: no contact details.
An example
“Thanks for the feedback. I underestimated how the pass worked that evening — since then I ask about the menu and the order system before every shift.” Two sentences, factual, with a change: that is how a reply reads that builds trust. Replying like this shows the next venue that you learn from criticism.
If a review is not true — for example because the incident described never happened — do not argue in a reply; instead have the review checked. You cannot have a review deleted just because you do not like it.
