Withdrawal from bookings
You can withdraw from the free user agreement with Sunworker, but there is generally no right of withdrawal for bookings on a fixed date — cancellation according to the scale applies there instead.
Two contracts
As a private individual you conclude two kinds of contract on Sunworker: the user agreement with Sunworkers Ltd. for the platform, and for each booking a job contract with the professional. Different rules apply to each.
The user agreement
The user agreement is formed when you register. It is free of charge, and you can withdraw from it within fourteen days without giving reasons. Independently of that, you can terminate it at any time by deleting your account. Neither affects bookings already made.
The job contract
Every booking is for a specific day and time. Under § 312g(2) no. 9 BGB there is no right of withdrawal for services relating to food and drink or leisure activities on a fixed date. That covers cooking, service, bar work or washing up at your party.
If a job contract exceptionally has no fixed date, you have a right of withdrawal towards the professional. The notice for that is also in the withdrawal notice.
The tick box on every request
With every request and every job posting you confirm that you have read the withdrawal notice. Sunworker stores this with the booking.
Cancelling instead of withdrawing
You can still cancel a booking at any time — not by withdrawal, but according to the cancellation scale. If the professional cancels, you get the amount paid back in full. More under Cancelling a booking.
This page is a summary. The wording of the withdrawal notice and the terms and conditions is what counts.
