Sunworker

What does a booking cost?

You pay the professional’s final price including VAT, surcharges and travel costs; private individuals pay no service fee.

The final price

As a private individual you always see final prices. They include everything the job involves. The price is set by the professional with their hourly rate, or by you with a fixed price they accept — never by the platform. The preview of your request shows the expected final price before you send it.

What the price is made up of

  • the professional’s hourly rate for the booked time, billed to the minute
  • surcharges for nights, Sundays and public holidays — if several apply, only the highest counts
  • travel costs, if the professional charges them: as a flat rate, against a receipt or per kilometre
  • VAT — for small businesses it doesn’t apply, with the note “no VAT under § 19 UStG”
Night work (11 pm–6 am)
+ 25%
Sunday
+ 50%
Public holiday
+ 100%

Suggested by the platform. Professionals set their own surcharges; if several apply, the highest one counts — they are not added together.

With a fixed price

If you book with a fixed price or a package, you pay exactly that amount. No surcharges or travel costs are added, and the actual duration doesn’t change the price.

No service fee

Private individuals pay Sunworker nothing — neither for the account nor per booking. The platform is funded by the commission the professional pays out of their fee. That has no effect on your final price. Job postings, messages and the finance overview in your account cost you nothing either.

You can book as soon as Sunworker has approved your account.
